District Assessment Program – Important Notice

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Lira District has expressed concern over the recent incident in which assessment teams were not attended to at Itek Subcounty during the ongoing District Assessment Program for FY 2025/2026.

The CAO cautioned that “such acts will attract sanctions” and issued a strong reminder that all subcounties and town councils stand warned against non-cooperation with the assessment teams.

The District Assessment Program is a critical exercise aimed at ensuring accountability, data collection, and performance evaluation across subcounties and town councils. It is therefore expected that all stakeholders extend their full cooperation to facilitate the process.

The District Administration reassures staff and leaders that the assessment at Itek Subcounty and other areas will be conducted before the end of this week. Leadership at all levels is urged to prioritize and support this important activity.
