LAUNCH OF DECLARATION OF INCOME, ASSET AND LIABILITIES BY LEADERS
The Inspectorate of Government is mandated under Chapter 14 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda to enforce the Leadership Code. The Code of conduct is operationalized by the Leadership Code Act, 2002. Secton 4 (1) and (2) of the Leadership Code Act,2002 requires a Leader (specified under the Second Schedule ) to submit a written declaration of income, assets and liabilities to the Inspector General of Government every two years during the month of March.
